Choose the work your home needs.

The right scope connects the finished home you want with the house, lot and plans you have today. Tell us whether you need a new build, more living space or a remodel so we can review the construction work and the next planning step.

Custom homes and home rebuilds.

For custom home construction, site access, structure, utilities and finish decisions belong in one coordinated plan. A home rebuild also needs a defined demolition scope and a plan for any existing elements that will remain. Send your site photos and latest drawings so we can discuss the work with your design team.

Home additions and whole-home remodeling.

A home or second-story addition should connect naturally to the existing rooms, stairs and building systems. For whole-home remodeling, start with the layout changes you need and the areas you want to retain. Construction planning should address the connected rooms and trades, access for deliveries and whether the house will be occupied.

Kitchen, bathroom and primary-suite remodeling.

In a kitchen remodel, settle the cabinet layout, appliance dimensions, lighting and plumbing locations alongside the countertop and finish selections. A bathroom remodel brings fixtures, waterproofing, ventilation and tile installation into the same sequence. If the work includes the adjoining bedroom or closet, explore our primary-suite remodeling service.

ADUs and outdoor improvements.

For an ADU or garage conversion, share how you want to use the space, photos of the property and any plans already prepared. Access and utility connections need to be reviewed with the proposed dwelling. We also review outdoor remodeling, fences and gates; include the yard in the scope if it is part of a larger home project.

What to expect as your project takes shape.

  1. Discuss your property and goals. Share the address, photos, planned work, design stage, target timing and an initial budget range. We review the project fit and the information still needed.
  2. Review the plans and construction scope. We coordinate the building work with your architect, engineers, designer and trades. Identify the current drawing revision, finish selections and open decisions before comparing proposals.
  3. Agree on the work and communication. A written scope should identify the proposed work, inclusions, exclusions and how changes will be handled. Discuss site access, the construction sequence and your project contact.
  4. Coordinate construction and completion. The team manages the connected construction stages, trade work and project updates through the final details and handover.

Have plans already? Send the latest set. Still deciding between remodeling, adding space and rebuilding? Bring those options into the same project review. Our guide to organizing design and construction helps you prepare that conversation.

Before you hire a Los Angeles general contractor.

Is DG Builders a licensed contractor?

DG Builders Inc holds California contractor license #1067237, with the General Building classification. You can check our current license record with CSLB and contact our team at (818) 448-5548.

Can you work with my existing architect and plans?

Yes. Share the latest drawings, your design team's contact information and any open questions. DG Builders coordinates construction with the architect, engineers and designer so the proposal and building work refer to the same scope.

Do you take on kitchen and bathroom projects as well as new homes?

We review kitchen and bathroom remodeling, additions, ADUs and whole-home renovations alongside custom homes and rebuilds. Tell us which rooms and systems will change, whether the home is occupied and how far along your selections are.

How do I get a project estimate?

Use the project form on this page or call us. Send the property location, photos, drawings if available and the changes you want to make. Pricing depends on the defined construction scope, existing conditions and selections; the initial review identifies what is needed for a useful proposal.

What should I compare between contractor proposals?

Ask each team to price the same written scope. Compare included work, exclusions, material allowances, open design decisions and the approach to changes and communication. A total price is easier to evaluate when you can see what it covers.
